Our EA Basketball Camps are for youth ages 9 - 18. Each EA basketball camp offers a great opportunity for kids to continue enhancing on many of the fundamentals of basketball, while being challenged at a very high level on technical and critical thinking skills. At the end of each camp, participants receive an assessment certificate of their progress and participate in an achievement level ceremony in which parents have a chance to witness the progress their child has made while being awarded their achievement level sweatbands. Our camps are very intense in nature and involves strong focus skill alignment, goals setting, follow through, and self-discipline. Every participant who attends an EA basketball camp comes away with the self motivation to become more coachable, exceed performance expectations, and create stronger goals in school and other activities.

How Does Your Child Qualify To Attend EA Basketball Camps

In order to qualify, each participant is assessed in one of our mini clinics.  If you have been involved in an Conditioned Minds program (including camps, Mustang Basketball Program, or school partnered program), you automatically qualify for these camps. If you have never been involved with us, we offer a small Free mini clinic which lasts 1 hour.  These mini clinics are held on Friday evenings. If accepted, participants receive their camp participation invite only card which can be used to register for any of our EA basketball camps.

Each EA Basketball Camp provides cognitive training tools which help each participant accelerate their critical thinking skills by slowing down processing skills while speeding up their reaction times. This in turn helps with performance anxiety and leadership skills.

Each participant gains an advantage by receiving an assessment packet from each EA Basketball Camp they attend. Our assessment certificates allow participants and parents an opportunity to see how their child has developed throughout the week and from year to year, or camp to camp.

At our camps, each participant works their way up with sweatband colors. Every camp they have an opportunity to graduate to the next level sweatband. This is done by their assessments throughout the week and overall performance. This method inspires our participants to reach higher and set goals throughout the week.

Conditioned Minds Camp & Clinic FAQ's

What does my child need to bring to camp?
Campers should come dressed in sporting/basketball attire (shorts, sneakers, t-shirt). They need not bring basketballs or other equipment as we will have everything they need. Please leave all watches, jewelry and electronics (i.e.: ipods, mp3s, and video games) at home as we cannot be responsible for such items. Campers may of course bring any medication they may need. Please make the camp director aware of any medication. Campers also need to bring a sack lunch, beverage, and snack.

Do you provide lunch?

Each child will be responsible for bringing his or her own lunch to camp.

Do you provide before and after care?
For many of our camps and clinics, we do offer before and after care. For any camps which offer this service, there is a $10 charge for before care each day (runs one hour before camp begins), and $10 charge for after care each day (runs one hour after camp ends).

Is the camp very competitive?

Our focus is on teaching and skill development. Our camps and clinics will challenge youth but are not about the end result of competition. We are very much into emphasis on process over outcome, self confidence, and follow-through.

How are the campers divided during camp?
Campers are placed in groups according to their age, skill level, and experience. This is done to ensure that each child participates with others of a similar ability. Emphasis is placed on improving at one’s own pace while enjoying the excitement of the sport. We will try to accommodate group requests when possible, but cannot guarantee in an effort to keep teams fair and balanced.

Can my child be in the same group as his friends?

Campers can request to be in the same group as friends. If they wish to be in the same group as another camper, they should let their coach know on the first day of camp. While we try to accommodate campers, it is important to provide the best camp experience by evenly matching ages and skill levels to arrange for the best level of competition.

May I cancel my registration?
All fees are refundable until 2 weeks from camp start date. There is a $35 non-refundable administrative processing fee for all cancellations. If you wish, you may use your fee to pay for a future Conditioned Minds camp, clinic, or program.

What if my child has to leave early?

Please inform the camp director or program director at the beginning of the day if your child needs to leave early. If there is an emergency and your child needs to leave early, you may contact the program manager or camp director on their cell phone.

Who are the instructors?
Our accomplished staff is comprised of a wide array of sport, leadership, and sport backgrounds. Your child will receive instruction from a combination of the following: college and high school coaches, current and former college players, NBA clinicians, certified referees, personal trainers, semi and professional players and other sport experts.

Can parents stay and watch during camp?
Of course! Parents are more than welcome to watch their children in action! The only thing that we ask is that you limit the amount of interaction with your child during camp. It may make your child uncomfortable and not give full attention to the camp instruction.

What will my child gain from attending a Conditioned Minds camp or clinic?

Every participant gains an understanding of how to become a more self-motivated student-athlete. They will learn by practicing specifically designed drills and techniques in an intense, but fun, setting.

Cancellation by Conditioned Minds Camps

In the unlikely event that Conditioned Minds Camps cancels your camp session, we will refund only your camp registration fees. Camper waives any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agrees to accept as liquidated damages said registration fees.

What is special about Conditioned Minds Camps & Clinics?

Conditioned Minds camps and clinics are nationally recognized as one of the best mental/physical leadership sports training systems in the country. The camps utilize training techniques developed for high school and college level teams.

Will campers get individual time with the coaches?

This is one aspect that separates Conditioned Minds from other camps. Our highly skilled instructors are able to make an impact with their individual attention to students.

What are the benefits in returning to camp again and again?

Each time a participant returns, they work on mastering the lessons from previous camps. This strengthening encompasses the mental and physical aspects of our camp training.
