Membership Challenge

Membership Challenge Criteria Include:

Academic Challenge – Global Leaders participants apply learned techniques which help them set tougher but foreseeable goals, and a roadmap for success.

Must Accomplish the Following:

• 1 Semester of Straight A’s Throughout the Year (at least 2 core courses)
• Tutoring 1 or more students in a core class. Letter from teacher supervisor.
• Letter of Recommendation from Counselor
• Additional accomplishments may be required

Community Challenge – Participants get involved with community service by starting their own program, or volunteer their time help other programs grow.

Must Accomplish the Following:

• Organize a local community program and document developmental process. Program must operate for a minimum of 3 months.
• Get involved in a state-wide initiative and document involvement (include pictures). Should include conversations with state government officials. 

Athletic Challenge – Each Global Leader participant excels in various athletic areas including talent, internal strength, attitude, and team leadership. 

Must Accomplish the Following:

• Participate on school team and play more than ½ of game time each game.
• Team captain role or letter from coach discussing your value to the team.
• Must receive an individual team, city, or state award at the end of at least 1 sport season.
